Horology By The Sea is proud to offer this pre-owned Special Edition of the S.U.F Vetehinen with a spectacular dial crafted of Aventurine glass, a man-made material known for its deep color and mesmerizing sparkle, created by suspending copper or metallic particles within molten glass.
The beautifully crafted hands feature surfaces polished on one side and matte on the other for excellent legibility in various lighting conditions. The incredibly tactile unidirectional bezel featuring serrated edges at 5 minute intervals for amazing grip. The large round pip on the bezel is filled with Superluminova to match the luminous hands and indices.
The Vetehinen Aventurine is powered by a modified Soprod movement which is oiled, assembled, and tested at the S.U.F workshop. The movement operates at 4Hz and carries a power reserve of 42 hours. The stainless steel case is water resistant to 300M/1000ft.
The stainless steel case measures 42mm x 11.4mm x 50.5mm lug-to-lug. The watch is furnished with an aftermarket Camo Calfskin strap, OEM black Nordic Elk strap with Sarpaneva stainless steel buckle and a black rubber strap with steel S.U.F folding buckle.
