We are honored to present this pre-owned S.U.F Helsinki Kaaos Hiili (Finnish for "Carbon" or "Coal") a celebratory 20th-anniversary reference, housing the first-ever moon phase complication in the S.U.F line. Atop the matte black dial with luminous indices are lumed hour and minute hands together with a blued steel lollipop seconds hand. A crescent shaped aperture reveals the in-house moon phase complication, featuring the iconic Sarpaneva "Moon Face" which has been hand-painted with Swiss Super-LumiNova to provide a hauntingly beautiful glow that reflects Stepan’s own obsession with the lunar cycle. The phase of the moon is easily adjustable through the crown.
The 180 "Kaaos Karkki" is powered by a modified Soprod movement which is oiled, assembled, and tested at the S.U.F workshop. The movement operates at 4Hz and carries a power reserve of 42 hours. The case is depth rated to 100M/330ft water resistant.
The Stainless Steel case measures 38.7mm x 9.4mm x 46.4mm lug-to-lug and is in mint condition. The watch is furnished with a 20mm black Nordic Elk strap to which tapers to 18mm at the Sarpaneva stainless steel buckle and an additional black rubber strap with signed S.U.F Helsinki folding buckle (both unused). Complete with original leather travel case and papers dated 12/31/2025.
