Underneath the javelin shaped hands lies a a beatifully executed ivory-colored dial. An aperture at 6 o'clock reveals the date which easily set via the crown. The knurled white gold bezel is beautifully crafted and appears unblemished.
The reverse side the reveals the the in-house Calibre PF331 which beats at 4Hz and carries a power reserve of 55 hours spread across twin barrels. The movement is wound automatically while on the wrist by way of lovely solid rose gold rotor with hand guilloché. Every bridge and component receives exhaustive hand-finishing: Côtes de Fleurier guilloché, mirror-polished bevels, and impeccable anglage that reveal the obsessive attention to detail Parmigiani Fleurier is renowned for. The movement carries the prestigious Qualité Fleurier certification, along with chronometer status from the COSC.
