A watch conceived by the Lyrique collector group which was built by some of the finest names of the industry. The Étude N°2 features a handsome stainless steel case designed byMatthieu Allègre whose plans were given to Voutilainen and Cattin SA for manufacturing. The beautifully executed guilloché dial (Comblémine, SA) and Observatory hands (Fiedler) are supremely legible.
The reverse side reveals a beautifully finished Agenhor caliber AGH-6802 which carries a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. Though this watch is seemingly a "simple three-hander", there is a lot more under the hood. First, is the existence of an AgenEse gear designed to eliminate the small interferences in the gear train leading to hesitations with the eccentric hands. Next is Agenhor's AgenPit regulator, which allows for regulation of the timing of the balance and beat. The movement operates at 3 Hz.
The Stainless Steel case measures 39mm x 10.45mm x 45mm lug-to-lug and is in excellent condition. Furnished on an OEM brown ostrich strap with signed stainless steel pin buckle. The watch with a burgundy travel case only... this edition was never furnished with conventional "Box and Papers".
