Horology By The Sea is proud to present this stunning 5-Minute Repeater, a Piece Unique collaboration between Habring² and Benzinger. This watch, carrying Serial #5/5 was the last of 5 watches created for this Special Edition, but the only to be executed with a blue chapter ring, and with rose gold dial and bridges which were engraved and skeletonized by Jochen Benzinger.
Housed in a Titanium case water resistant to 30M, the repeater produces a loud and crisp chime. Viewable dial side through the sapphire crystal, the top hammer strikes once for each hour, followed by two hammers working in concert to indicate each 5 minute increment up to 55 minutes (please see the 2nd video).
Further embellishment carries over to movement where Mr. Benzinger adorned Habring²'s Manufacture A11 base caliber. The manually wound movement beats at 4Hz and carries approximately 48 hours of power reserve. A tangential screw is in place for fine adjustment and the anti-magnetic escapement is fit with a Carl Haas hairspring of Chronometer quality.
The Titanium case measures 42mm x 13.5mm x 52mm lug-to-lug and is in mint condition. Furnished on an OEM navy ostrich strap with titanium deployant buckle. Complete with Box & signed Paperwork from Jochen Benzinger. The paperwork is dated 3/5/2023.
