Horology By The Sea is proud to present this extraordinary Habring² Perpetual-Doppel, the loving couple's most complicated watch to date. This remarkable timepiece seamlessly blends two of high watchmaking's most revered high-complications: Richard Habring's vaunted split-seconds (rattrapante) chronograph together with a perpetual calendar and moonphase.
Across its multi-layered, vertically brushed salmon dial, the timepiece reveals an astonishing amount of mechanical detail while maintaining excellent legibility.The dial architecture features four delicately recessed, sunken registers framed by a slightly raised outer perimeter with a classic printed railroad minute track.At 12 o'clock, a subdial houses both the 30-minute chronograph totalizer and an integrated moon phase display depicting a dark blue sky with golden stars.The 3 o'clock register tracks the day of the week, while the 6 o'clock register displays the month and leap-year cycle, balanced at 9 o'clock by the pointer date display.
The reverse side reveals the Habring² A11P calibre featuring Richard's iconic integrated cam-actuated rattrapante chronograph module and a seamlessly integrated Dubois Dépraz perpetual calendar module. A tangential screw is in place for fine adjustment and the anti-magnetic escapement is fit with a Carl Haas hairspring of Chronometer quality. The movement beats at 4Hz and delivers a power reserve of 48 hours.
The Stainless Steel case measures 43mm x 15.5mm x 52mm lug-to-lug and is in excellent condition. Furnished on a long length OEM Grey Assolutamente strap with steel Habring² deployant buckle. Complete with Box & undated Papers.
This listing includes an additional spare blue dial as referenced in the last photo and rose gold colored hands. The watch will deliver with the salmon dial installed with rhodium colored hands.
