A unique twist on Richard & Maria's A11S jumping seconds caliber, the Josef shifts the ordinarily centrally located jumping seconds to a subdial at 12 o'clock while the hours fall to a subdial at 6 o'clock, and finally an indication of power reserve at 3 o'clock.
The movement beats at 4 Hz and delivers a power reserve of 48 hours. A tangential screw is in place for fine adjustment and the anti-magnetic escapement is fit with a Carl Haas hairspring of Chronometer quality.
The cushion-shaped stainless steel case measures 38.5mm x 38.5mm, 10.3mm thick, 46.5mm lug-to-lug and is water resistant to 30 meters. All new Habring² are backed with a 3 year international warranty.
