A useful and complicated timepiece from Habring² is the Erwin Pilot Globetrotter featuring a vintage-inspired grainy black dial with white Arabic numerals. The Cathedral style hour and minutes hands are painted with lume to match the luminescent round markers located every 5 minutes on the minute track. Though fully mechanical, the white seconds hand jumps in one second intervals akin to a watch with quartz movement. The red hand with arrow tip points to the 2nd timezone which is adjustable via the pusher at 4 o’clock.
The reverse side reveals Habring²'s in-house A11S-24H caliber which operates at 4hz and delivers a power reserve of 48 hours. The center wheel advances in one second increments in coordination with the jumping seconds hand on the reverse side. A tangential screw is in place for fine adjustment and the anti-magnetic escapement is fit with a Carl Haas hairspring of Chronometer quality.
The fully satin stainless steel case measures 41mm x 12mm x 46mm lug-to-lug. Furnished on a brand new Habring² yellow-brown Assolutamente strap. Complete with Box & Warranty Booklet dated April 2025... at the time of listing, 2 years and 3 months remain of the 3 Year Habring² Warranty.
