Horology By The Sea is proud to present this very rare bird from Habring², an automatic winding COS ZM with white dial and red chronograph hands.
This COS ZM chronograph you may have noticed is completely without pushers. The Habring's Crown Operated System enables the user to start, stop, and reset the chronograph completely through the crown. This ZM version (Zentraler Minutenzähler) of the COS records elapsed minutes on the central axis by way of the red hand with arrow tip, seconds without the tip.
The reverse side reveals the Habring² A11COSZM caliber which operates at 4 Hz and carries a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. The watch is automatically wound by way or a rotor which also serves an instruction manual of how to operate the chronograph through the crown. A tangential screw is in place for fine adjustment and the anti-magnetic escapement is fit with a Carl Haas hairspring of Chronometer quality.
The Stainless Steel case measures 42mm x 14mm x 52mm lug-to-lug and is in mint condition. Furnished on an OEM grey Assolutamente strap with steel pin buckle. Complete with Box & Papers dated May 2023.
