Horology By The Sea is proud to present this bespoke example of the 99.5 with titanium case by Dornblüth & Sohn of Saxony.
Dial side we find a pristine white lacquer dial rooted in classical marine chronometer design, framed by hand-engraved Arabic numerals finished in a deep, striking blue. The dial features a symmetrical dual-register layout, housing an in-house power reserve indicator positioned at 9 o'clock that utilizes a bevel gear differential alongside a pointer date sub-dial at 3 o'clock. The date function is set apart by a custom red date hand, providing an immediate pop of color against the classic heat-blued steel hands that sweep across the main dial.
Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the manual-wind Calibre 99.5 showcases lovely finishing over a classic three-quarter mainplate treated in black rhodium. Highlighting the movement's architectural beauty are hand-applied Côtes de Genève, double-sunburst solarization on the crown and ratchet wheels, heat-blued screws set in solid gold chatons, and a hand-engraved balance cock paired with a swan-neck fine adjustment regulating a Glucydur screw balance. The movement operates at 2.5Hz and carries a power reserve of 50 hours.
The titanium case measures 42mm x 12.5mm x 52mm lug-to-lug and is in mint condition. Furnished on an OEM blue calfskin strap with titanium buckle. Complete with Box & Papers dated August 7th, 2026.
