The GPHG award-winning Christopher Ward C1 Bel Canto represents a landmark achievement in accessible haute horlogerie. Resting above the sunray finished "Viola" purple dial is a most charming Sonnerie au Passage (passing chime) complication constructed from over 60 bespoke components. Time of day floats above the dial in a subdial at the 12 o'clock position with both the hands and indices coated with Super-Luminova. At the top of each hour, the hammer located at 8 o'clock dutifully strikes the gong creating a lovely D-note chime. When moments of quite are preferred, a mute button exists at the 4 o'clock side of the case.
The Grade 5 Titanium case measures 41mm x 13mm x 48mm lug-to-lug. Furnished on the titanium bracelet with links suitable to accommodate approximately an 8" wrist. The automatic winding Sellita SW-200 base movement operates at 4Hz and delivers a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. Complete with Box and Papers dated 9/2/2024.
