Horology By The Sea is proud to present the Mount Vernon Meteorite from American Independent Watchmaker, 1776 Atelier.

At its heart is Muonionalusta meteorite, a material formed approximately 4 and a half billion years ago in the earliest days of our solar system and older than Earth itself Applied Breguet numerals rise above this ancient celestial material, while applied chapter rings and refined minute and seconds markers bring clarity and balance to the composition. The center portion features a Champagne Argente colored guilloché dial. The result is a dial that is both deeply historic and unmistakably contemporary.

The reverse side reveals the handwound 1776 Atelier Caliber HP917 which operates at 3Hz and carries a power reserve of 48 hours. The yellow gold plated balance bridge and dark rhodium plated "Federal Scroll" 3/4 bridge were hand engraved by Drew Klok of Indiana. The stainless steel crown wheel and ratchet wheel are double snailed and provide a lovely contrast to the dark rhodium plated bridges.

The Stainless Steel case measures 40.5mm x 11.8mm (with crystals) x 49mm lug-to-lug. The front Sapphire Crystal is domed and double AR Coated, the sapphire caseback is flat and AR coated on the inside. Furnished on a brown Epsom calfskin strap with signed pin buckle which is micro-adjustable by 3mm. 2 Year Warranty.
