Paul Gerber "Model 33" Reference 335 (Pre-Owned)
A rare bird from horological super genius Paul Gerber, the man who is attributed with creating the most complicated wristwatch in the world. Here we have his Model 33 with a 6mm 3-D moon phase accurate to 128 years and movement featuring the “Paul Gerber Escapement”.
The moon can be viewed dial side and movement side and is comprised one half of hammered 18 karat white gold and the other half natural lapis. The hand finished movement by Mr. Gerber himself features Côtes de Genève striping at a 33° angle, screwed gold chatons, and other flourishes of classical watchmaking. The gearing itself is comprised of 18 karat gold.
The 18 karat tonneau shaped rose gold case measures 33mm wide x 40mm long, 11.3mm thick 50mm lug-to-lug. The strap is a long length Paul Gerber signed Alligator strap and original buckle engraved and filled with blue enamel. Also included is a brand new regular length dark brown Alligator strap from Delugs.
