A true grail from arguably the most important name in watchmaking is this Patek Philippe 5270P-001 with salmon dial. Through the caseback we are given view of Patek's CH 29‑535 PS Q caliber which serves as the engine for the time, a chronograph with instantaneous 30-minute counter, and Perpetual Calendar with moonphase complication.
One of my favorite aspects of this watch which can sometimes be overlooked by beauty of the dial and movement is the detail of the case, bezel, and lugs which are truly exceptional. I also love the blackened white gold hands and indices which add a lot of character to an already convincing dial.
The 950 Platinum case measures 41mm x 12.4mm x 49.6mm lug-to-lug and is marked with one round .02ct diamond set between the lugs at 6 o'clock on the case. Please refer to the video (slide 3) for the condition of the watch which is a one-owner piece that has never been polished. Furnished with the brown alligator strap as seen in the photos as well as a brand new and sealed Patek Philippe replacement strap.
