Horology By The Sea is proud to present this serene reference from Laurent Ferrier, the Galet Square Micro Rotor. The Ice Blue dial set with solid white gold indices is easily one of the most beautiful dials I have ever seen. The spear shaped hands are finished with mirror-polished centers and crafted in a mixture of solid 18 karat White Gold and Palladium.
Beneath the sapphire caseback reveals the Calibre FBN 229.01 with Natural Escapement which beats at 3 Hz and delivers a power reserve of 72 hours. The watch is automatic winding by way of a beautifully finished 18 karat gold micro-rotor underneath a steel bridge which is black polished. The top surface of the bridges feature wide panels of Côtes de Genève that terminate to hand-beveled edges. With the inclusion of 8 sharp interior angles, this is quite simply one of the most beautiful movements being made today.
The Stainless Steel case measures 41mm x 11.6mm x 47.2mm lug-to-lug. Furnished on an OEM beige Alligator strap with aftermarket stainless steel buckle, plus two additional Alligator straps plus one original Laurent Ferrier steel Ardillon buckle.
Note: This watch began its life with a dark blue dial and the client later requested to have the dial changed to the Ice Blue dial for a sum of $2,500. This listing is for the watch as pictured with the Ice Blue dial AND the additional Dark Blue dial saved in a plastic membrane case. Complete with Box and Papers dated 11/24/17, and supplementary papers issued by Laurent Ferrier indicating the dial change 7/1/2019.
