Horology By The Sea is proud to present the highly sought after "Endurance", the result of an incredible collaboration between Habring² and the Cronotempvs Collector's Group.
Inspired by Ernest Shackleton's legendary Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition aboard the namesake vessel, Habring² and Cronotempvs set out to create a special edition ready for extreme adventure. Beneath its refined, dark gray finely grained dial lies a hand-wound movement based on the reliable ETA Valgranges architecture, meticulously enhanced with modules designed and crafted by Richard Habring. On the left we find a seconds subdial with a small aperture to reveal the 'Top Second' complication which blinks red once every 2.5 seconds. To the right is a Power Reserve Indicator charting the watches 48 hours of reserve. Crowning the layout is an instantaneous day/night indicator at 12 o'clock which shifts color from grey to dark green coated with luminous material.
At the heart of the watch beats a caliber equipped with Habring² Magnetic Shielding (HMS), an innovative system that safeguards the sensitive hairspring from disruptive magnetic fields far more efficiently than traditional soft-iron cages — all while maintaining a slim profile and reducing overall weight.
The Stainless Steel case measures 42mm x 11.5mm x 51mm lug-to-lug and is in excellent condition. Furnished on an OEM Habring² grey Assolutamente calfskin strap with dark green stitching and a stainless steel pin buckle. Complete with Box and Papers. Limited to 33 Pieces.
