Horology By The Sea is proud to present this exquisite Quintus 38.5mm Klassik from Dornblüth and Sohn, the father-and-son duo from Kalbe, Germany.
Underneath the blued steel hands lies a finely grained silver dial with a silky-matte finish. Utilizing a pantograph machine, the numerals and railroad minute track are engraved into the dial and later filled with black paint. Seconds are contained to a subdial at 6 o'clock.
The reverse side reveals Dornblüth's in-house Calibre 2010, a hand-wound movement that beats at operates at 2.5Hz and delivers a power reserve of 52 hours. Featuring a double-barrel system with a patented Maltese Cross mechanism, this movement ensures near-linear torque for precise chronometry. Every detail, from the hand-engraved balance cock to the heat-blued screws and gold chatons, showcases Dornblüth’s dedication to traditional craftsmanship.
The Stainless Steel case measures 38.5mm x 10mm x 48mm lug-to-lug and is in excellent condition. Furnished on an OEM black alligator strap with signed stainless steel pin buckle. Complete with Box & Papers dated May 2025.
