Horology By The Sea is thrilled to present this "Pulse60", an extraordinary showcase of avant-garde horology from the legendary watchmaker Dominique Renaud.
Dial side we are presented with a pristine white backdrop serving as a high-contrast canvas for the watch’s distinctive, asymmetric complications and openwork accents. Off-center hours and minutes are displayed legibly at 12 o'clock, flanked by a dedicated torque indicator at 3 o'clock that reveals the precise energy output of the mainspring. Positioned at 9 o'clock is a natural dead half-second complication, driven directly by the movement's unique impulse mechanism to deliver ultra-precise, rhythmically satisfying steps across the dial.
The reverse side reveals the hand-wound calibre BUA2024, a movement celebrated for its unconventional 1Hz (7,200 vph) low-frequency cadence engineered to emulate a calm human heartbeat. The movement is dominated by a massive 20mm high-inertia balance wheel paired with a 15mm hairspring, allowing an extraordinary amplitude exceeding 360 degrees without knocking while maintaining optimal positional rate stability across a 4-day power reserve. Every component exhibits painstaking haute horlogerie finishing, featuring hand-beveled edges, frosted bridges, mirror-polished steel elements, and custom-designed jewels that accentuate its architectural, spatial architecture.
The Grade 5 titanium case 40mm x 12mm x 44mm lug-to-lug and is in mint condition. Furnished on the OEM black rubber strap with signed titanium double folding clasp. Box and Warranty Card dated June 2026.
