Horology By The Sea is proud to presented this coveted "Boutique Edition" of the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph. This specific edition is distinguished by its solid 18-carat white gold case, measuring a perfectly proportioned 39.5mm in diameter and a slender 11mm in height, providing an understated yet commanding presence on the wrist. The Boutique Edition is immediately recognizable by its stunning silver-argenté dial adorned with deep navy blue numerals and a matching pulsometer scale graduated to 30 pulsations—a nod to the historic pocket watches that once served the medical profession. The classic railway-track minute scale and sunken sub-dials for the small seconds and 30-minute counter create a sense of depth and architectural balance that is quintessentially Lange.

Turning the watch over reveals the breathtaking Calibre L951.5, a manually wound movement that many collectors consider the finest chronograph caliber in existence. Visible through the sapphire-crystal caseback, the movement is a three-dimensional landscape of untreated German silver bridges, meticulously decorated with Glashütte stripes and hand-polished chamfers. Technically, it is a marvel of precision, featuring a column-wheel control mechanism and a horizontal clutch that ensures a crisp, tactile engagement of the pusher. The flyback function allows for the instantaneous resetting and restarting of the chronograph with a single press, while the stepped jumping minute counter ensures the elapsed time is always legible at a glance. The 18 karat white gold case measures 39.5mm x 11mm x 48.4mm lug-to-lug. Swirls exist throughout the bezel but no significant scratches or dents exist. Furnished on an aftermarket light blue alligator strap with 3 additional OEM Lange alligator straps (black, medium brown and dark brown) included. Complete with Box & Papers dated June 3rd, 2017 and underwent a complete service for $3,857.14 CAD, October 2022.
