The tentacles are further enhanced by hand-applied \"tremblage\" engraving, a technique involving a burin that creates a fine, matte-shimmering surface texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe reverse side is equally captivating, revealing the underside of the skeletonized  movement where the thematic engraving continues. The skeletonized mainplate is finished with perlage and is given plated with dark rhodium for a lovely contrast to the rose gold plated tentacles. One of my favorite aspects of this watch are the timing screws set into the balance wheel not often seen in this caliber.
